DAY 1 (FRIDAY) ARRIVAL TALLINN
Arrival in Tallinn, optional transfer to Hotel Reval Olympia**** or similar, check-in, welcome meeting.
DAY 2 (SATURDAY) TALLINN - CESIS
After breakfast we drive to the Lahemaa National Park, where we visit the Manor House in Palmse. We continue to Tartu, the university town, where Estonia gained its statehood. We see the charming Old Town and the University founded in 1632. From Tartu we drive onwards into Latvia to Cesis, a Hanseatic city with winding streets, castle ruins and beautiful gardens. Check-in at the Hotel Kolonna Cesis*** or similar.
DAY 3 (SUNDAY) CESIS - VILNIUS
Today we drive through the Gauja National Park to Sigulda, a popular holiday resort. We see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle and the ruins of the Castle of the Knights of the Sword before we drive around Riga to hit the highway down to Vilnius. En route we reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. After a guided tour of the palace we travel through Lithuania to reach Vilnius late afternoon. Check in at Hotel Reval Lietuva**** or similar.
DAY 4 (MONDAY) VILNIUS - KLAIPEDA
Vilnius is known for its more than 1.200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The morning sightseeing tour includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anna’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. After the tour we continue to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania and we visit the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. The balance of the day is spent en route to Klaipeda, where we arrive late afternoon. Check-in at Hotel Radisson SAS Klaipeda**** or similar.
DAY 5 (TUESDAY) KLAIPEDA
The day is reserved for a full-day optional tour to the Curonian spit, a thin 100 km stretch of land between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon with small fishing villages, pine forests and endless sand dunes. Our first stop is the Hill of Witches in Juodkrante. After that we continue to Nida, where we visit the high Dunes, Thomas Mann’s Summer House and get acquainted with the charming resort town before we drive back to Klaipeda. The evening offers an optional Lithuanian dinner at Restaurant Anikes.
DAY 6 (WEDNESDAY) KLAIPEDA - RIGA
Klaipeda first became a part of Lithuania in 1923 and had a long history as a German town called Memel. A short sightseeing tour takes us to the Old Town with its narrow, cobblestone streets and old guild houses and we visit the Theatre Square and the Aennchen von Tharau Fountain. We now continue to the Samogitia National Park, where we embark on a walking tour around the picturesque Lake Plateliai. After that we continue to Siauliai and Hills of Crosses, one of the holiest sites of Catholic Lithuania. We head
North into Latvia and reach Riga late in the afternoon, check-in at Reval Hotel Latvija**** or similar. The eveing offers an optional organ cocert at the Dome Cathedral.
DAY 7 (THURSDAY) RIGA
Riga founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the 3 Baltic capitals and boasts a true kaleidoscope of various architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, Swedish Gates, Three Brothers, Large and Small Guild House and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon is reserved for an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. In the evening we enjoy an optional Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant La Boheme.
DAY 8 (FRIDAY) RIGA - TALLINN
The tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu. We do a short tour of the resort and a leisurely walk on the beach. The balance of the day goes through North Estonian land of forests to Tallinn, check-in at Hotel Reval Olympia**** or similar.
DAY 9 (SATURDAY) TALLINN
Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon an optional excursion is offered to Rocca-Al-Mare Parkmuseum, a spacious exposition of 18th century Estonian countryside life. The evening offers an optional medieval dinner at the Restaurant Peppersack.

Optional transfer to the airport.

Day 2: VILNIUS –TRAKAI-VILNIUS
9:00 am City tour of Vilnius and its Old town enlisted on the UNESCO Heritage List. During the sightseeing you will have opportunity to see a lot of gorgeous churches (it is said that in XVI century there were more churches than in Italy), get to know influence of different architectural styles on today’s Vilnius, to hear interesting stories. Main sights: Cathedral, hill of three crosses, Gediminas tower, St. Ann's Church, the 16th century masterpiece of Gothic architecture, St. Peter & Paul’s Church, the Gates of Dawn with the chapel housing a holy image of the Virgin Mary, Pilies str., entrance in Vilnius University courtyards, Town Hall square, Užupis district (Vilnius Montmartre) and much more pearls of Vilnius.

Afternoon tour to Trakai, former capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit to the insular castle of the 14th century, erected on a small island in Lake Galve. For centuries it served as a defensive structure and residence of Lithuanian Grand Dukes. Arrival in Vilnius

Day 3: VILNIUS-KERNAVE- KLAIPEDA
9:00 Departure to the archeological and cultural sanctuary of Kernave which is one of the most beautiful places and the first capital of Lithuania founded on the coast of the River Neris. From 2004 it has been enlisted on the UNESCO Heritage List.
1:00 pm Lunch in Kaunas, on the way to Klaipeda.
6:00 pm Arrival in Klaipeda, check-in at the hotel
7:00 pm Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: KLAIPEDA-CURONIAN SPIT-KLAIPEDA
9:00 am City tour of Klaipeda. Klaipeda the third city with the only ice-free port in the Republic of Lithuania, which is the largest one in all the Baltic states.
11:00 Departure to Curonian spit by ferry. The Curonian Spit is a natural wonder created by sea, wind, and man. On December 2, 2000 was inscribed into UNESCO World Heritage List as a valuable and unique cultural landscape in the Baltic region. During tour we will visit to Juodkrantes and Nida towns.
1:00 pm Lunch at restaurant in Curionian Spit.
5:00 pm Return to Klaipeda.

Day 5: KLAIPEDA- HILL OF CROSSES-RUNDALE-RIGA
9:00 am Departure to Riga. En route to the Hill of Crosses a unique example of Christianity in Lithuania, imposing creation of Catholic believers, who took those thousands of crosses into one place, so now you will be able to see thousands of crosses on one hill.
1:00 pm Rundales palace, most outstanding monuments of the baroque and rococo art in Latvia, built by famous architect Francesco Bartalomeo Rastrelli.
2:00 pm Lunch at the Rundales palace.
6:00 pm Arrival in Riga. Check in at the hotel.

Day 6: RIGA
9:00 am City tour of Riga. Riga, the capital of Latvia, is one of the largest cities in the Baltic’s, an ancient Hansaetic city on the banks of the river Daugava, known for its Gothic, Baroque, Classiest and Art Nouveau architecture. You will admire the Old town, with the university buildings, the Opera House, Dome Cathedral.

Day 7: RIGA-SIGULDA-PARNU-TALLINN
9:00 am Departure to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia with en route stop in Sigulda, located in the picturesque Gauja Valley dotted with caves and castles and sometimes called "Latvian Switzerland". In Sigulda, view the 13th Century Knights Castle and the Gutmana Cave, which is linked to romantic medieval legends.
2:00 pm Lunch in Parnu. Estonian summer capital.
7:00 pm Arrival in Tallinn Check-in at the hotel.
8:00 pm Dinner.
Day 8: TALLINN
9:00 am City tour of Tallinn which will take you through the cobbled streets of the Hanseatic town, which has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. The sightseeing begins at the Toompea Hill, the seat of the Estonian Parliament Riigikogu as well as the Estonian Government. You will see the 13th century Dome Church and nice panoramas over the city, admire town fortifications and defence walls as well as the 14th century Gothic Town Hall with the weather vane Old Thomas dating from 1530.

Day 9: TALLINN
